Front Desk Receptionist

Duties and responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
  • Manage the reception area to ensure it is tidy and presentable.
  • Receive and sort daily mail, deliveries, and couriers.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings.
  • Maintain office security by controlling access (monitoring logbook, issuing visitor badges, etc.). Provide administrative support to various departments as needed (e.g., filing, data entry, preparing documents).
  • Assist with travel arrangements, meeting room bookings, and office supplies management.
  • Handle inquiries and resolve basic complaints in a courteous manner.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s university degree
  • 0 – 2 years of experience
  • Previous experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
